The contracts area within EnergySteward.com is where contracts are
added, updated and deleted. These contracts represent the legal
documents between parties for specific obligations (dependent on each
contract). The following
characterizes some of the options available within EnergySteward.com
'Contracts...' area:
- An unlimited number of contracts can be setup.
- *An unlimited number of 'types' of contracts (type examples
include gathering, purchase, sales, transport, etc.).
- All contract information built with 'effective from and thru dates', allowing
historical preservation of contract entries.
- Miscellaneous information posted on contracts include; bank
information, evergreen terms, quality specifications, note areas,
etc.
- *Contracts can have an unlimited number of 'product'
associations ('Gas', 'Oil', etc.).
- *Contracts can have an unlimited number of 'service' associations
('Marketing', 'Pass through', etc.). This is used to segment
contracts by type of service.
- *Contract 'options' can be configured and a contract can have an
unlimited number of options (miscellaneous attributes about
contracts).
- *An unlimited number of Provisions can be setup on a contract.
- *An unlimited number of Activities/Actions (alerts) can be setup on a contract.
- *An unlimited number of Amendments (with effective dates) can be setup on a contract..
- An unlimited number of meter/well associations can be assigned to the contract.
Meters/Wells are setup in the
Meters/Wells area within EnergySteward.com.
- An unlimited number of tiered price/cost formulas can be setup (assigned at the
contract level OR to an individual set of meters/wells).
- An unlimited number of tiered volume adjustments (fuel, PVR, keep whole percentages,
etc.) can be setup. These volume adjustments can be assigned at the contract
level OR
to an individual set of meters/wells.
- Contracts can have multiple addresses, and their respective purpose on the
contract.
- Contracts maintain a status history, reflecting (by date) the various changes in
the status on the contract.
- *An unlimited number of contract 'groups' can be associated to a contract.
- Contracts can have an unlimited number of 'company relationships' (these
are in addition
to the primary and counterparty relationships).
- Contracts can store an unlimited set of electronic
correspondence (like scanned
contracts, scanned amendments (over time), contract
briefs, etc.).
* These items can all be defined in
the contract configuration area within EnergySteward.com.
All of these items above can be accessed from within the
EnergySteward.com 'Contracts...' area. Click on the thumbnail images
(below left) to see a few sample screen shots. |

How to get into the Contracts Area
This represents the
method used to enter the 'Contracts...' area with EnergySteward.com. |

Contract Lookup List
This
represents the initial screen that is displayed
when you first click on the 'Contracts...' main menu option within
EnergySteward.com. From this screen you can add, update or delete
contracts. You will notice on this screen that there are several
'Lookup' options (top of screen) which allow you to select items in
pulldown boxes AND/OR specify wildcard characters for searching your
contracts. More information on these lookup/search options can be
found within the 'Searching With Lookups' area of this website. |

Contract General Information
This is the screen where you setup the
basic information required when setting up a contract (type of contract,
dates, primary/counter party, etc.). |

Contract Price/Cost Formula Detail
An unlimited number
of price/cost formulas can be setup on a contract. This screen
shot shows the detail screen for a sample formula, showing the basic
fields entered to setup a formula and highlighting the tab areas on the
screen where tiers are setup and meters/wells can optionally be
assigned. |
